Alisha was born in Florida on 14 July 1989. Her first acting part was in 2008's short Murder on Her Mind. Following a full-time commitment to acting since 2010, she was offered her first film part, Just Before I Go in 2014. In addition, she appeared in one episode of Criminal Minds as well as Married. The family was from Dallas, Texas with her siblings and parents. Holland Roden graduated from Hockaday School - a girls private school. Holland Roden comes from a medical family background where the entire family is part of molecular biology as well as women's studies at UCLA. Holland Roden studied pre-medical for several years because she was aspiring to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. Later, Holland Roden decided to enter the acting field. She also played one-time characters in TV shows such as Major Crimes, Switched at Birth, and Major Crimes. Then, she was Nurse Kelsey for 2 episodes in General Hospital. Between 2017 and 2019, she was Maia Roberts on the Freeform TV series Shadowhunters. Raising Dion followed. She is set to appear in Palmer the film which co-stars Justin Timberlake.
