Katherine Heigl opens up to the world about her "white bubble life" and how it has affected her parenting style for her multiracial adopted children. In an interview with the "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted that her appearance didn't concern her. However, when having a conversation with her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society treated them, she became conscious of the differences the two were. I wanted to know Meg whether, while out with her parents, she received a certain treatment and when out alone, she was treated with a totally different kind of treatment. She responded "Oh Yes! All the time!" Heigl told her parents it made her realize just how naive she had been. Heigl said she got upset and believed she needed to channel the anger she felt on her adoptee daughters. Heigl has a son of 4 year with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. The couple's daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year old girl that they adopted in 2012.
