Katherine Heigl admits that she was brought up in a white bubble and how that influenced how she raised her adopted, multiracial children. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl admitted that she didn't care about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. "I asked Meg whether she felt different when she went out with us parents than those who went out on her own. Meg replied, "Oh, yeah, all the times! Heigl addressed Parents about when she realized the naivety of her actions. The actress said that she was angry but felt she needed to channel that energy in order to assist adopt her daughters. Heigl has a four year old son and a 13-year-old wife, Josh Kelley. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8 an African-American child) in 2012.
