Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has her mind about being raised in an environment that was a "white bubble" and how the realization has affected how she raises her multiracial adopted children. In an interview, she spoke about the "Firefly Lane", as well as "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her looks didn't bother her. But after talking to her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences they were. "I I asked my sister Meg whether she'd been treated one way when she was walking around with our parents and in a different manner when she was out on her own without anyone else. She said: 'Oh Sure, I've witnessed it all!' Heigl spoke to Parents about the moment she realised her ignorance. According to the actress, she was furious. However, she wanted to channel that anger towards aiding her adopted daughters. Heigl shares a son of 4 years and Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year-old girl who was adopted by the couple in 2012.
