Katherine Heigl speaks to everyone regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it has had an impact on how she raises her adopted multiracial children. In an interview, actress Katherine Heigl, who plays "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her body didn't matter to her. However, when talking to her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences the two were. Meg was asked if she was treated differently when they were out together with their parents and then in the case of going out on their own. She answered, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." According to the actor, she became angered. She wanted to channel her anger into helping the girls she adopted. Heigl has a four-year old son and a 13-year-old spouse, Josh Kelley. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is a Black 8-year-old girl they adopted in 2012.
