Laura Linney was one of the best American actors in recent history. Her savacious and flimsy roles have earned her a cult name. As a teenager, she spent her summers at her father's house, she developed an interest in theater. After studying at Brown University for a while, then later at Juilliard School to study acting. Starting her acting career on the Broadway soon after graduation, she made her debut on film in just two years. She also appeared on TV within a year. Over the past few years she's been in many film, TV as well as stage productions. She received many accolades throughout her career such as several Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. The actress has received nominations for five Tony Awards and three Academy Award nominations. However, despite her recognitions and awards, theater is her main interest and she'll continue to perform on screen and stage.
