Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to receive a score of a perfect of 10 during an Olympic competition. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics coach when she was just six years old. Her first competitive event was the National Junior Championships in which she finished 13th in 1969. In 1970, Comaneci was crowned champion. At her first international competition in 1972, she took the top spot by winning three gold awards. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals at her first international competition for seniors which took place in the year 1975. It was the first time she participated as an older senior. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first female to do a backward double salto as a dismount from the uneven parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carol Wayne's journey in the world of entertainment began as a teenager. With her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined the traveling entertainment show called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a professional in the entertainment business as a teen. She started her career as a model skater with her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around called Ice Capades. These shows included skaters who were performed to music from the stage.
